Two of the boldest names in Japanese pop culture and fashion have come together again. Singer Ado and fashion house ANNA SUI have revealed a limited collection of handkerchiefs and pouches built around a single, striking idea: ANNA SUI's signature purple rose meeting Ado's iconic blue rose. The collection releases on Wednesday 4 November 2026, and it follows the ANNA SUI x Ado Christmas cosmetics collection that arrived on 1 November.
Produced by Blooming Nakanishi, the historic handkerchief maker founded in 1879, the range features four item types across six designs. Every piece carries the dark, romantic mood that both artists are known for, with deep black grounds, glowing blue blooms and a special blue rose emblem that ties the whole collection together.

Print handkerchiefs: two designs, one blue rose story
The centrepiece of the collection is a pair of large print handkerchiefs, each measuring roughly 52 x 52 cm. The first, Rose and Rose, is the design that defines the collaboration. Purple and blue roses are arranged over a bold striped background, framed by ornate scrollwork and finished with the Ado and Anna Sui signatures. It looks just as good folded in a bag as it does draped over a chair or framed as a piece of art.

The second print handkerchief, Blue Rose, takes ANNA SUI's archive artwork of delicate scattered flowers and weaves in Ado's blue rose. The result is a dense, jewel-toned floral print in turquoise, cobalt and lilac on black. At this size, it works as a handkerchief, a bag cover, a lap blanket or a small wrapping cloth for a gift.

Towel handkerchiefs for everyday use
For something you can carry every day, there are two compact towel handkerchiefs, each around 25 x 25 cm. Both are based on the print designs but given their own character. One is a premium jacquard-woven towel that renders the blue roses directly into the fabric, so the pattern has real texture and depth.

Embossed rose cosmetic pouch
The most luxurious piece is the embossed cosmetic pouch. Made from black faux leather with a rose pattern pressed into the surface and edged in bright blue, it measures about 10 x 14.5 x 5.5 cm. It has a gusset for extra room and an inner divider, so lipsticks, compacts and the ANNA SUI x Ado cosmetics all stay tidy. The blue rose emblem sits proudly on the front.
