Who is Yumia?
Yumia Liessfeldt is the protagonist of Atelier Yumia, the 2025 entry in KOEI TECMO's long-running Atelier series of crafting role-playing games. She is a young alchemist in a world where alchemy has become feared and even forbidden, and her journey to uncover the truth about alchemy and her own past takes her across a huge open landscape. Her short dark hair, red hair accent and practical explorer outfit made her one of the most distinctive Atelier heroines in years.
A different, more grown-up side of Yumia
This figure shows Yumia away from the adventure, in a quieter moment after being caught by a shower of rain on a sunny day. Her white top and skirt cling to her in soft, damp folds, her grey corset is laced at the front, and she holds her loosened belt in one hand while the other is raised to her hair. Kotobukiya describes it as a mature, charming side of Yumia that fans have not seen before, and the relaxed pose suits it perfectly.

Sculpting the rain
The most impressive part of the figure is how convincingly it shows wet clothing. The folds of the outfit are carefully sculpted so the fabric sits close and creases naturally, while the paintwork keeps the white tones soft and slightly translucent. Her short hair falls in damp strands across her face, framing a calm, slightly shy expression with the red accent in her hair adding a pop of colour.

From Benitama's illustration to a scale figure
The figure is based on an original illustration by Benitama created specially for this release, and Kotobukiya's sculptor HIDE has worked hard to keep the feel of the artwork in three dimensions. The pose, the tilt of her head and the way she holds her belt all follow the illustration closely, so it really does look as if the picture has stepped off the page and onto your shelf.
An iridescent puddle base
Instead of a plain disc, Yumia stands on a clear base with an iridescent finish, designed to look like a puddle reflecting the sky after the rain. Depending on the light it shifts between blue, purple and pink, which ties the whole rainy-day theme together and makes the figure look great under shelf lighting. Her detailed black boots, with gold trim and diamond patterns, sit right on top of it.

A great addition to an Atelier collection
At 26 cm, the Sun Shower Ver. sits nicely alongside other 1/7 scale figures and Atelier heroines on a shelf. It is a lovely pick for fans who played through Yumia's story and want a figure with a different mood from her usual adventuring look, and it also stands out as a strong piece of character sculpting in its own right.
