Chiikawa Autumn Winter Cozy Goods: Room Shoes, Blankets, Waffle Tees and Ibaraki Pop-Up From 9 October

Oct 04,2026 | Otaku Daily Shop UK

Chiikawa is wrapping up for autumn. Fresh warm goods — dance-theme room shoes, pocketed 3WAY blankets, oversized throws and fluffy character blankets — go on sale in Japan from Thursday 9 October 2026, while waffle long-sleeve tees and loungewear sets have already started from Thursday 2 October. The same week, a Chiikawa POP UP STORE opens at Aeon Mall Mito Uchihara in Ibaraki from 9 to 26 October.

Below is what we know about the cozy line-up, the pop-up dates in UK time, and an honest note on Otaku Daily availability. Otaku Daily currently does not open orders for placing these items; please use Contact Us to ask for a quote.

Warm feet and wearable blankets

The seasonal drop is built for staying in. Dance-theme warm oversized room shoes bring a fluffy lining and a busy character diamond print, the sort of slipper you put on and forget to take off. Beside them sit two blanket styles that do more than sit on a sofa: a 3WAY blanket with a pocket, designed so you can wear it over the shoulders, and a larger throw blanket in a matching diamond character pattern for bed or floor sprawls.

Separate fluffy blankets spotlight Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi and Momonga one character at a time, with soft sherpa-like texture and big face art. They are the kind of lap blanket that photographs well and actually gets used on cold evenings.

Waffle tees and loungewear from 2 October

A few days earlier, on 2 October, waffle long-sleeve tees and loungewear sets began rolling out in Japan. The waffle tees come in soft white and grey bases with all-over mini character faces and a small Chiikawa patch at the hem. Loungewear sets lean into sleepy slogans and simple line art of Chiikawa and friends, sold as matching tops and trousers for at-home days.

Ibaraki pop-up from 9 to 26 October

Alongside the online and shop goods, a Chiikawa POP UP STORE is scheduled at Aeon Mall Mito Uchihara in Ibaraki. The dates are Friday 9 October to Monday 26 October 2026, open 10:00 to 19:00 local time, closing at 18:00 on the final day. Reporting around the pop-up highlights new mascots themed "I'm Going to Eat a Meat Bun" for Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi and Momonga, plus a sweatshirt-wearing Sea Otter, Kurimanju snack-themed goods, and a January 2027 desk calendar.

Pop-up stock and novelty extras are always first-come in Japan, and the announcement does not describe a UK visit path. Treat it as Japan event news rather than a promise of local walk-in stock.

What we know, and what we do not

  • Confirmed: the cozy product themes (room shoes, 3WAY and throw blankets, fluffy character blankets, waffle tees, loungewear), the 2 October and 9 October Japan start windows, and the Ibaraki pop-up dates and hours.
  • Not mentioned: nothing in the coverage describes a UK retail launch for these specific winter SKUs, so we cannot promise UK shop stock.

Otaku Daily and these Chiikawa winter goods

Otaku Daily currently does not open orders for placing these items; please use Contact Us to ask for a quote. You can still browse other Chiikawa goods in our Chiikawa collection, but please note that these autumn and winter blankets, slippers and pop-up exclusives are not listed there as of 3 October 2026.

Why this drop matters for collectors

Chiikawa merch often moves quickly when a seasonal theme lands, and autumn warmth is an easy sell. Room shoes and wearable blankets photograph well, travel reasonably as gifts, and sit beside the character mascots many fans already own. The Ibaraki pop-up adds limited novelty energy on top of the regular shop line, which is why Japan coverage has bundled the two stories together this week.

If you already follow Chiikawa on Otaku Daily, think of this post as a calendar note rather than a listing page. When matching SKUs appear in our Chiikawa collection we will say so clearly; until then, Contact Us remains the path for quote requests.

Frequently asked questions

What Cosy Chiikawa goods are coming? Dance-theme room shoes, a 3WAY pocket blanket, an oversized throw, fluffy Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi and Momonga blankets, plus waffle long-sleeve tees and loungewear sets.

When do they go on sale in Japan? Waffle tees and loungewear from 2 October 2026; the warmer blankets and room shoes from 9 October 2026.

Where is the Ibaraki pop-up? Aeon Mall Mito Uchihara, from 9 to 26 October 2026, 10:00–19:00 local time (18:00 on the last day).

What new mascots are mentioned? "I'm Going to Eat a Meat Bun" designs for the main cast, a sweatshirt-wearing Sea Otter, Kurimanju snack goods, and a January 2027 desk calendar.

Can UK fans buy these on Otaku Daily? Otaku Daily currently does not open orders for placing these items; please Contact Us for a quote.

For UK readers, the useful takeaway is timing. The waffle and loungewear pieces have already started in Japan, so the blankets and room shoes on 9 October are the next wave to watch, and the Ibaraki pop-up runs in parallel for anyone following Japan event calendars. None of that automatically creates a UK listing, which is why our CTA stays on Contact Us until matching products appear in the Chiikawa collection.

Bottom line

Chiikawa's autumn and winter drop is all about soft textures and stay-home comfort, with an Ibaraki pop-up landing on the same day the warmer blankets and slippers start in Japan. If you are collecting the season, watch the 9 October start — and if you need help placing anything through Otaku Daily, Contact Us is the right door.
