Chiikawa Ramen Buta Staff Mascots Arrive 6 November, Plus Last Call for Nendoroid Kurimanju and Shisa
Nov 02,2026 | Otaku Daily Shop UK
It is a big week for the quieter heroes of Chiikawa. On Friday 6 November 2026, the official Chiikawa Ramen Buta restaurant releases five new staff mascot key rings, showing Momonga, Kurimanju, Shisa, Rakko and Furuhonya, the second-hand bookshop owner, in the shop's staff uniform. Just a few days later, on Wednesday 11 November, the Good Smile Company pre-order window closes for Nendoroid Kurimanju and Nendoroid Shisa. Kurimanju and Shisa star in both releases, so if you have been waiting to give these two their own spot on the shelf, now is the time. Everything below is open for pre-order from the UK at Otaku Daily.

What is Chiikawa Ramen Buta?
Chiikawa Ramen Buta is the official Chiikawa ramen restaurant, inspired by the hearty Ramen Buta shop in the manga, where the characters queue for huge bowls piled high with toppings. The real restaurant brings that idea to life with themed bowls, decorations and its own range of goods. There are branches at Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo and Shinsaibashi PARCO in Osaka. Seats are reserved in advance and are booked up every day, and many restaurant goods are only sold to diners. That is why the range is so popular with collectors who cannot visit.
Meet the new Ramen Buta staff
Each of the five new mascots wears the Ramen Buta staff look: a white head towel and a black staff top, ready to take your order. Momonga looks as confident as ever, and Kurimanju has the happy look of someone who has just finished a very good bowl of noodles. Shisa, with its fluffy orange mane, brings the cheerful energy of a hard-working shop assistant, which suits a character who already has a part-time job in the story. Rakko, the strongest hunter in the series, makes a surprisingly cute waiter, and Furuhonya, the second-hand bookshop owner, is a lovely pick for fans of the side characters.

Each mascot comes on a ball chain, so it can hang from a bag as well as sit on a desk. The sizes vary by character. Momonga is the largest at about 115 x 110 x 90mm. Shisa is about 110 x 95mm, Rakko about 105 x 95mm, Furuhonya about 115 x 80mm and Kurimanju about 100 x 80mm.

The full staff line-up of eight
With this release the staff mascot range grows to eight characters. Each one is listed separately at Otaku Daily:
- Momonga staff mascot key ring
- Kurimanju staff mascot key ring
- Shisa staff mascot key ring
- Rakko staff mascot key ring
- Furuhonya staff mascot key ring
- Chiikawa staff mascot
- Hachiware staff mascot
- Usagi staff mascot
In Japan, the new five go on sale through the Chiikawa Market online shop from 11:00 Japan time on 6 November, which is 02:00 UK time. Buyers are limited to one of each design, and in the restaurants the goods are sold to diners only. With reservations at both branches filling up every day, ordering through a UK shop is the easiest way to get them from here.
Last call: Nendoroid Kurimanju and Nendoroid Shisa
Kurimanju and Shisa also have their first Nendoroids, made by Max Factory and announced on 28 September. The Good Smile Company pre-order window runs until Wednesday 11 November 2026, and the figures are planned to ship in May 2027. Both are painted, posable Nendoroids, about 70mm tall, with magnets in the hands and feet to make posing easier.

Nendoroid Kurimanju comes with smiling, "Haaa..." and hangover faces, plus a can of beer and salmon jerky, the snacks Kurimanju enjoys in the series. Nendoroid Shisa comes with smiling, open-mouth and frustrated faces, plus a bowl of ramen and a book about sake. The ramen bowl is a neat link to this week's Ramen Buta release, and the two figures are clearly designed to be displayed side by side.

You can pre-order both figures at Otaku Daily. There are Japan-sourced listings for Nendoroid Kurimanju and Nendoroid Shisa, and EU/UK-sourced listings for Nendoroid Kurimanju and Nendoroid Shisa. Nendoroid pre-orders often close once the manufacturer's window ends, so we recommend ordering before 11 November.
Building a Kurimanju and Shisa shelf
Put the two releases together and you have a fun little display: the Nendoroids with their beer can and ramen bowl, and the Ramen Buta mascots in their staff uniforms behind them. If you already own the Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi Nendoroids, Kurimanju and Shisa make a natural second row.
