Why the Hidan and Kakuzu arc still hits so hard
The Hidan and Kakuzu arc is where Naruto Shippuden turns serious for Team 10. The Akatsuki pair arrive hunting a tailed beast, and their clash with the Leaf costs Shikamaru his mentor, Asuma Sarutobi. What follows is one of the series' most loved storylines: Shikamaru planning a flawless trap to avenge his teacher, and Naruto unveiling his brand-new Wind Release: Rasenshuriken against Kakuzu. This kuji is built around those moments, so it works as a tribute to Team 10 and to two of Akatsuki's most memorable villains at the same time.
Prize A and B: Shikamaru and Asuma, teacher and student
Shikamaru leads the line-up as Prize A. He stands in his Shippuden flak jacket with one hand raised in a relaxed fist and the other in his pocket, wearing that calm, slightly bored expression that hides a strategist's mind. Prize B is Asuma, sculpted at about 27 cm with his jonin vest, the sash of the Twelve Guardian Ninja tied at his waist and his trademark cigarette. Displayed side by side, the two figures capture the bond at the heart of the arc.
Prize C and D: Hidan and Kakuzu in Akatsuki cloaks
The villains are just as striking. Hidan's MASTERLISE figure rests his huge triple-bladed scythe on his shoulder, its long cable trailing down to the base, while his open Akatsuki cloak shows his Jashin pendant. Kakuzu stands tall in his hood and mask, one hand reaching forward, with the red cloud pattern of his cloak sharply painted. Together they make a menacing pair, and they look excellent next to the Team 10 figures.

Last One prize: Naruto's Wind Release: Rasenshuriken
In Japan, the Last One prize goes to whoever draws the final ticket at a store. Here it is Naruto Uzumaki holding his Wind Release: Rasenshuriken high above his head, with swirling blue wind effects spiralling down around him to the base. It is a dynamic, eye-catching piece and the perfect finale for a line-up built around this arc. If you would like to ask about the Last One prize, message us and our team will be happy to help.

Prize E to I: Akatsuki goods for every collector
Beyond the big figures, the lower prizes are full of fun extras. Prize E is a round rug of about 45 cm featuring the Jashin symbol, a bold red circle and inverted triangle on black. Prize F brings ten members of Akatsuki as tiny Chokonokko figures, including Itachi, Kisame, Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu, Pain, Konan, Tobi and Zetsu, all in their cloaks.

Prize G is a set of six Pokotto charms that use cute Chokonokko-style artwork, ideal for bags and keys. Prize H adds nine acrylic charms from the -NARUTO 72 series- artwork, each showing a different character or scene in a trading-card style frame.

Finally, Prize I is a set of variety stickers in ten designs. Each set pairs a double-page sticker of about 18 cm with six flake stickers of about 5 cm, using character art from Naruto Shippuden and the -NARUTO 72 series-. They are great for decorating notebooks, phone cases and laptops.
