What is LUFFY's?

LUFFY's is a figure line built around a simple but clever idea. Its rounded, minimalist form is taken from the shape of the One Piece logo, turning Luffy's straw hat silhouette into a stylish collectible that looks great on a desk or shelf. The figures are sized at 1/20 scale, calculated from Luffy's own height, which gives a standing height of about 8.6cm. TAMASHII NATIONS describes the range as a product that remembers the adventure fans share with One Piece, and each edition swaps in a new colour scheme or theme.

Because every LUFFY's shares the same shape, the fun is in collecting different editions and lining them up together, almost like a row of colourful straw hats. The line has been building momentum, with the LUFFY's ONE PIECE Card Game Don!! Card edition opening a second round of orders on 27 October for June 2027 shipping.

Inspired by the Setouchi Blue bullet train

The ONE PIECE Shinkansen is a real bullet train running on the Sanyo Shinkansen line in western Japan, wrapped in One Piece designs. Its first trainset is called Setouchi Blue, after the Seto Inland Sea that the line runs alongside. The new LUFFY's figure recreates that train's livery from the brim of the hat to the tips of the feet, with bright sea blues, white accents and details inspired by the train's body.

The result is a glossy, ocean-blue Luffy silhouette that feels very different from a standard figure. It is an easy pick for One Piece collectors and train fans alike, and a nice souvenir-style piece for anyone who has travelled, or hopes to travel, on the line.

How it is being sold

The figure first went on sale on 14 October 2026 at selected station shops and stores in the JR West area and through JR West's online shops. A pre-order round through Premium Bandai followed, with orders opening on 28 October 2026 at 16:00 Japan time and shipping planned for March 2027.

One Piece Bab bath tablets from 7 November

Kao's Bab is one of Japan's best-known bath tablet brands, famous for its fizzing carbonated tablets. Its new One Piece collaboration runs under the theme of washing away the day's fatigue and setting off on your next adventure.

There are three scents: Sweet Chamomile, Honey Mikan and Midnight Wood, each in a box of 12 tablets. Every box features different Straw Hat Pirates artwork, and lining up all three creates one connected illustration. Inside, the individually wrapped tablets use six different designs per scent, making 18 designs in total. The water colours also match the mood, from yellow to deep midnight purple. They launch in limited quantities across Japan from 7 November 2026.
