Powered-up Hachiware and Usagi join Magical Chiikawa
Magical Chiikawa is the magical-girl side of the Chiikawa world, where the friends transform with magical charges, and the mischievous Bad Version adds a darker twist. The newest mascots celebrate the moment Hachiware and Usagi become stronger. Instead of their usual everyday look, both appear in fluffy, upgraded forms with crown-like details, big expressive eyes and soft, shaggy fur that makes them look ready for battle while still being impossibly cute.
Hachiware comes in a cool icy blue with pointed ears, while Usagi takes on a creamy, golden look with long floppy ears. They are sized as mascots, so they work as bag charms or as a pair on a shelf next to the rest of your Magical Chiikawa collection.

Bonbon Drop Seal Jewel: three sparkly sheets
Bonbon Drop Seals have become one of the most talked-about sticker formats in Japan, thanks to their puffy, glossy drops that look like little sweets. The new Jewel versions push that idea further with gem-like shapes, hearts and stars mixed in with the characters.
There are three sheets in this wave. Magical Chiikawa features Chiikawa and the Bad Version in pink and purple tones. Super Magical Chiikawa brings in the upgraded magical-girl outfits. Angel & Devil pairs sweet angel looks with mischievous devil versions, ideal for decorating phone cases, journals and card sleeves.

Chiikawa Baby Castella opens in Kyoto Nishiki Market
Chiikawa Baby Castella is a sweet shop serving freshly baked baby castella, the small, fluffy sponge cakes sold at Japanese festivals and markets, with Chiikawa-themed packaging and treats. After its first shop in Otaru, Hokkaido, the brand is opening a second branch in Kyoto's Nishiki Market on 18 November 2026.
The Kyoto menu includes baby castella topped with cream, soft serve ice cream and ice candy, plus reusable cups and a lunch bag as souvenirs. Visitors on opening day receive a commemorative sticker while stocks last. Entry in the first weeks is managed through an advance lottery run on the Chiikawa Mogumogu Honpo LINE account, with the first round of applications running from 4 to 7 November and results on 9 November.

Store-only cup mascots and plush cup holders
For collectors, the big news is a new set of shop goods launching from 18 November at both the Kyoto Nishiki and Otaru branches. There is a mascot set themed around the baby castella cup, plus three plush cup holders designed to carry your drink or castella cup. These are store-only items and are not being sold online, which usually means they become hard to find outside Japan.
