Who is the attention-seeking monster?

Hitori Gotoh is the painfully shy guitarist at the heart of Bocchi the Rock!, a brilliant player online who can barely speak to people in real life. Her wild imagination often runs away with her, and one of the most memorable gags shows her daydreaming about going viral, transforming into a dinosaur-costumed monster begging for likes. It is a perfect snapshot of Bocchi's mix of anxiety and big dreams, and it has become one of the most recognisable images from the series.

A crying, fire-breathing dinosaur Bocchi

The Nendoroid captures that scene brilliantly. Bocchi wears a bright green dinosaur onesie with a toothy hood, a soft white belly and spikes running down a chunky tail. The "Like my posts!" face plate shows her squeezing her eyes shut with tears streaming as she wails, while both hands give a hopeful thumbs up. Add the flame effect and she breathes fire, as if her need for attention has gone fully out of control.

The blank stare face

For a quieter display, the second face plate gives Bocchi a blank, empty-eyed stare, the look fans know well from the moments when her brain simply shuts down. Paired with a sitting pose, it turns the monster into a very small, very tired dinosaur, which is just as funny in its own way. Swapping between the two faces lets you show both sides of Bocchi's emotional rollercoaster.

Bonus Tsuchinoko Bocchi

The set also includes Hitori Gotoh: Tsuchinoko Ver., the flattened pink creature Bocchi melts into when things get too much. With her little cube hair clips and a grumpy face, she makes a great extra to place beside the main figure or tuck into another part of your Bocchi the Rock! display.

Made in Japan at the Lucky Factory

This Nendoroid is produced at Good Smile Company's Lucky Factory in Kurayoshi, Tottori, where the company makes many of its Nendoroids in Japan before they are sent out to fans around the world. Like other Nendoroids, Bocchi is articulated, so you can adjust her arms, head and pose, and she comes with a stand to keep her steady in more dynamic positions.
