Who is Frieren?
Frieren is an elf mage who once helped the hero Himmel defeat the Demon King. Because elves live for centuries, she barely noticed the ten years she spent with her party, and the series follows her as she sets out on a new journey to understand the people she travelled with. Calm, dry-witted and quietly devoted to magic, she has become one of the most popular anime heroines of recent years.
Her clash with Aura the Guillotine, one of the Demon King's generals, is a highlight of the first season, and this figure is designed around that battle.

A closer look at the figure
quesQ has gone for drama here. Frieren hovers over a cratered chunk of moon surface, her staff held firmly across her body, as if she is holding her ground at the decisive moment. Her long twin tails and short cape lift as though caught in an updraft, which gives the whole piece a strong sense of movement.
- Outfit: her familiar white capelet and dress with gold trim, black belt, dark tights and brown boots.
- Staff: her long red staff with its curled head set with a red gem, held diagonally across her body.
- Hair: long silver-white twin tails sculpted flowing upwards and outwards.
- Base: a pale, cratered moon-surface base that makes her appear to float.

Why fans will love it
Many Frieren figures show her in quiet, everyday moments, which suits her personality. This one shows the other side of her: the overwhelmingly powerful mage who has spent a thousand years mastering her craft. The upward sweep of her hair and cape, the moon base and the steady, unbothered expression on her face make it feel like a still from the anime's big battle.

Where she fits on your shelf
At approximately 28 cm, this is a substantial 1/7 figure, and her outstretched hair needs a little extra width, so a deeper shelf or cabinet is ideal. The pale moon base looks especially striking against a dark background or with a little lighting from above.
