hololive Deformed Collection Vol.4: AZKi, Subaru, Luna and Lui Figures, Release Date Confirmed for 12 October
Oct 01,2026 | Otaku Daily Shop UK
The wait for the next batch of hololive pocket figures is almost over. Bandai Candy's official product page now lists hololive Deformed Collection Vol.4 for release on 12 October 2026, so the date is now confirmed. The set was first revealed over the summer, and this is the date confirmation that fans were waiting for.
Volume 4 adds four talents, AZKi, Oozora Subaru, Himemori Luna and Takane Lui, each with a mascot item, for eight designs in total. It is a Japan sweets-aisle release, so here is a clear guide to what is in it and where we stand on availability.

What is hololive Deformed Collection?
hololive Deformed Collection is a series from Bandai Candy, the Bandai confectionery-toy line, that turns hololive talents into small pre-painted "deformed" figures. Deformed is the Japanese term for the chibi look, with a big head and a small body. Each set also includes the fan characters or mascots tied to the talents, which is what gives the series its charm.
Vol.4 is the fourth set in the line. Inside Games reported earlier stages of the set in May, June and August, and the outlet re-ran the story on 1 October once the release date was firm.
The eight designs
The official page lists one set of eight designs, made up of four talents and four mascot items.
- AZKi: from hololive Generation 0.
- Oozora Subaru: from Generation 2.
- Himemori Luna: from Generation 4.
- Takane Lui: from holoX, hololive production's secret society.

The four mascot items use the Japanese fan-character names given on the official page, and we have kept them as they are rather than invent English names:
- Kaitakusha
- Subatomo: in large and small sizes.
- Lunaito
- Ganmo / Tsukune / Tsumire: three characters in one item.

What is in the pack
- The figure: a pre-painted deformed figure, some of which need a little assembly.
- The base: each design comes with its own display base.
- The extra: one soda-flavour gum in every pack.
- Age range: the official page gives the age as 15 and over.

The official page also notes that photographs can differ slightly from the finished product. The sources we read do not say whether a single pack is random or selectable, so we are not going to claim either.
How to read the line-up
The set pairs each talent with the fan characters and mascots that go with her, which is why the news coverage describes them as "iconic items". Because the figures are small and each one comes with a base, they are meant to be lined up as a group, with talents and mascots side by side.
It also helps to know the hololive generations. AZKi sits in Generation 0, Oozora Subaru in Generation 2 and Himemori Luna in Generation 4, while Takane Lui belongs to holoX, the secret society within hololive production. That spread is part of what makes Vol.4 an easy set to enjoy for long-time and newer fans alike.
What does "candy toy" mean?
Bandai Candy's "shokugan" range is the Japanese name for a collectable toy sold with a small sweet. In this case the sweet is a single soda-flavour gum, and the figure is the main attraction. The lines are sold in the sweets aisles of supermarkets and similar shops rather than in toy shops, which is why the release is described in terms of "candy toy shelves".
Key dates
- First revealed: over the summer, with Inside Games coverage in May, June and August 2026.
- Release date confirmed: 1 October 2026.
- Release: 12 October 2026, in Japan.
Where it is sold
The set goes on sale in Japan, in the sweets and "candy toy" aisles of supermarkets and retailers across the country, from 12 October. Nothing in the announcement says the set will be sold outside Japan, so we would not assume it will be.

What to keep in mind
- It is a re-confirmation: if you saw the earlier reports this summer, nothing about the line-up has changed. The news is the firm release date.
- It is Japan-only as far as we know: the announcement describes Japanese sales channels and says nothing about the UK.
- Pictures can differ: the official page warns that photographs may differ slightly from the final product.
- Packs are not explained: we do not know whether a pack is random or selectable, so please treat any claim either way as unconfirmed.
Why fans like this series
Deformed Collection figures are small enough to collect on a desk shelf, and the mascot items make the set more than a row of portraits. Each of the four talents is represented by an "iconic item" alongside the figure, which gives the set a story as well as a look. If you follow any of the four, a display base makes the figures easy to pose next to other hololive pieces.
