Houshou Marine New World Carnival Pop-Up: Shibuya From 3 October, Osaka From 23 October (Goods Lineup and the New EP)
Oct 02,2026 | Otaku Daily Shop UK
Captain Marine's new EP is getting its own shop. The Houshou Marine "New World Carnival" pop-up store opens in Shibuya, Tokyo, on Saturday 3 October 2026, just days after the EP itself came out on Wednesday 30 September. The space is themed on Marine's pirate ship, with newly drawn illustrations and a goods line-up that runs from a track jacket to blind-pack badges and photo cards. A second stop in Osaka follows from 23 October.
We want to be upfront about the timing. The pop-up was announced on 11 September, reservations opened on 17 September and the goods line-up was published on 25 September, so this is an "opens this weekend" story rather than breaking news. It is also a Japan event, so we have set out the dates in UK time and an honest note on availability.

The EP behind the pop-up
Houshou Marine's new EP, New World Carnival ~Iza Miwaku no Ounabara e~, was released on 30 September 2026 and has four tracks:
- "BooooM!!!": the ending theme of the second season of the TV anime Magilumiere Co. Ltd.
- "Doki Doki Dokuro": with Kanata Okajima and MEG/MEGMETAL.
- "UTAGE": written, composed and arranged by Shin Sakiura.
- "Suki Suki Die Suki Chou Aye Shiteru": in a TeddyLoid "Neon Noir" remix.
There are three editions. First-press limited edition A is a CD plus Blu-ray with the "BooooM!!!" music video and a lyric video. Limited edition B is a boxed set with an acrylic stand, a compass-shaped keyring and a "Captain Marine's treasure map" poster. The regular CD includes a random trading card (four designs) in the first press.
The Tokyo pop-up
The Tokyo pop-up is on the first floor of Shibuya Modi, in the "Calendarium" space, from 3 to 18 October 2026. It is open from 11:00 to 19:30 Japan time, which is 03:00 to 11:30 UK time (BST), with last entry at 19:00 Japan time (11:00 UK time). The opening days, 3 and 4 October, are reservation-only slots. Other days are free entry, and queue tickets may be handed out when it is busy. The space is themed on Marine's pirate ship, with newly drawn illustrations showing two looks: her classic pirate outfit and a modern streetwear outfit.
