Red Bull × hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME: Shishiro Botan and La+ Darknesss PR Cards at Lawson, 6–19 October
Oct 05,2026 | Otaku Daily Shop UK
Two of hololive’s most energetic talents are swapping the stream for the shop shelf. Red Bull Japan announced on Monday 5 October 2026 that its Red Bull × hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME campaign starts tomorrow, Tuesday 6 October, at Lawson convenience stores across Japan. Buy two qualifying Red Bull drinks and you receive one original PR card featuring Shishiro Botan or La+ Darknesss, the brand’s Red Bull Virtual Ambassadors.
It is a short, Japan-only promotion with a clear end date, so here is how it works, what the four cards look like, and what Otaku Daily can and cannot help with.

How the campaign works
The mechanic is simple. During the campaign, buy two qualifying Red Bull products in one go at a participating Lawson store and you are given one PR card for the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME. There are four designs in total, and cards are handed out while each shop’s stock lasts, so there is no guarantee of a particular design or a complete set.
Red Bull Japan notes a few exclusions: Natural Lawson, Lawson Store 100 and L Minimart branches are not taking part, and some regular Lawson shops may not carry the campaign either. A dedicated campaign office is handling enquiries in Japan on weekdays during the promotion.
The four PR card designs
Each talent gets two cards. Both Shishiro Botan and La+ Darknesss appear on a stylish “1st” card and a playful chibi-style “Debut” card, and the art leans into the partnership, with both of them holding cans of Red Bull or posing next to one.

Botan’s 1st card shows her in an oversized denim jacket with patches, can in hand, while her Debut card has a chibi Botan at a streaming setup, with a can and a camera close by. La+ Darknesss gets a confident jacket-and-sunglasses look on her 1st card, plus a chibi Debut design with her crow companion and a Red Bull can on the desk.

Red Bull Japan describes them as original PR cards for the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME. It has not shared further detail about how they are used in play, so we will not guess.
Which drinks count
The qualifying products are Red Bull’s regular Japanese line-up. According to the release, any two of these count towards a card:
- Red Bull Energy Drink: 250 ml, 355 ml and 473 ml cans.
- Red Bull Sugarfree: 250 ml can.
- Red Bull Energy Drink aluminium bottle: 330 ml.
- Flavour editions: Grape, Muscat, Cherry and Sudachi editions, each in 250 ml cans.

Key dates in UK time
Japan is eight hours ahead of the UK while British Summer Time is in force. That means a Japanese day starts at 16:00 BST on the previous UK day, so the campaign’s first day in Japan begins on Monday afternoon in Britain.
- Campaign announced: Monday 5 October 2026, 04:00 BST.
- Campaign starts in Japan: Tuesday 6 October 2026 (Japan’s 6 October begins at 16:00 BST on Monday 5 October).
- Campaign ends in Japan: Monday 19 October 2026, or earlier at any shop that runs out of cards.
Why Botan and La+?
Both talents already serve as Red Bull Virtual Ambassadors, so the card game tie-in is a natural next step. The cards themselves tag Botan as a hololive 5th-generation member and La+ Darknesss as part of Secret Society holoX, the group she leads, so the campaign brings together fans of two different corners of hololive. Putting them on cards together with the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME brand gives both drink fans and card collectors a reason to pay attention.
What we know, and what we do not
- Confirmed: four PR card designs (two each of Shishiro Botan and La+ Darknesss), a buy-two-get-one-card mechanic at participating Lawson stores, the qualifying drinks above, and the 6 to 19 October window.
- While stocks last: cards end when each shop runs out, and designs are not guaranteed.
- Not confirmed: any further detail on how the PR cards work in competitive play, and any availability outside the Japanese campaign.
