Who is Amu Hinamori?
Amu Hinamori is the heroine of Shugo Chara!, the magical girl manga by PEACH-PIT that first ran in Nakayoshi and later became a hit anime. At school, Amu is seen as cool and rebellious, but inside she is shy and longs to be her "would-be self". That wish gives birth to her Guardian Characters, little companions who hatch from eggs and represent the different people she could become. When Amu and a Guardian Character join together in a "character transformation", she takes on a brand-new look and power.
Amu has four Guardian Characters, Ran, Miki, Su and Dia, and each one unlocks a different transformation with its own outfit and personality. Fans have their favourites, but Miki's artistic Amulet Spade has always been one of the most stylish, which makes it a perfect choice for an anniversary figure.
Amulet Spade and Miki
Amulet Spade is the form Amu takes when she transforms with Miki, the blue Guardian Character who loves art and drawing. That is why this form carries a huge paintbrush and a beret-style hat with a blue spade motif. Kotobukiya has captured Amu mid-twirl, with one arm raised and the brush sweeping behind her, so the figure feels full of movement and creativity.

Ruffles, ribbons and stockings
The outfit is packed with detail. The chest is decorated with layered ruffles and a small jewelled brooch, a voluminous ribbon flows from the waist, and the blue shorts are paired with bold blue and white striped stockings and laced boots. The hair is painted with a soft translucent finish, giving Amu's pink hair a light, airy look that matches her bright, open smile.

A dynamic pose from every angle
From behind, you can see how the big waist ribbon trails out in long white ribbons and how the brush handle stretches diagonally across the whole figure. It is a pose that looks different from every side, so she rewards you for turning her around on the shelf.

The rainbow paintbrush
Miki's paintbrush is one of the most iconic props in the series, and it gets special treatment here. The handle has a metallic blue finish, and the bristles fan out in a rainbow of colours with a pearl coating that shimmers in the light. It is a small detail that makes a big difference when you see the figure in person.

The spade-shaped base
Amu stands on a glittering teal base shaped like a spade, the symbol of Miki's egg. It ties the whole display back to the series and adds a little sparkle at the bottom of the figure. If you collect other Shugo Chara! goods, this base makes it easy to build a themed corner around her.

Why collectors will love her
Shugo Chara! scale figures are rare, so a full 1/7 Amulet Spade for the series' 20th anniversary is a real treat for fans who grew up with the manga and anime. The careful sculpt by SHINKAI CREATE, the translucent hair, the pearl rainbow brush and the spade base all come together into a piece that feels joyful and nostalgic at the same time.
