Ado x KUROMI 'DND feat. KUROMI': Music Video Scheduled for 30 September and Yodaka Blu-ray on 21 October

Two of the biggest names in Japanese pop culture have joined forces. Ado, the singer behind "Usseewa", and Sanrio's rebellious Kuromi have released their first-ever collaboration, "DND feat. KUROMI". The song was announced on 21 September 2026, arrived digitally at midnight on 25 September in Japan (16:00 UK time on 24 September), and is available worldwide according to Ado's international press release, so UK fans can stream it now. An official music video is scheduled for 30 September.

This is a music story first, and we want to be upfront about that: there is no official "DND" merchandise that we know of. What fans can look forward to on the physical side is Ado's Tokyo Dome live release, "Yodaka", on Blu-ray and DVD on 21 October. Below is a plain guide to the song, the collaboration and the disc.

What is "DND feat. KUROMI"?

"DND" stands for "Do Not Disturb". It is described as a bold, positive, self-affirming anthem about tuning out other people's noise and going your own way, with Ado and Kuromi trading vocals over a hard-hitting beat. The song was written especially for the pair by Asteroid Music Team and runs for about three minutes.

How the collaboration came about

Sanrio says the project began with Kuromi's own enthusiastic offer to Ado, and the official announcement even includes a "letter" of invitation from Kuromi. That fits a character who has been building a genuine music career: Kuromi made her major-label debut in October 2025, followed by a first EP, a Zepp tour and a second EP in June 2026.

The collaboration artwork mixes both identities. Ado appears with twin tails that echo Kuromi's black hood, and several Kuromi characters crowd around her in the visuals, which gives the whole campaign a playful, slightly mischievous feel.

The music video: what we can say

Ado's international press release lists the official music video as premiering on 30 September 2026. At the time of writing we have not been able to see a music video on Ado's official channel, so we can only say that it is scheduled, not that it is live. Please check her official YouTube channel for the premiere itself, since the release gave no time for it.

No DND merchandise has been announced

It is easy to assume a Sanrio crossover comes with a full range of goods, so this is worth stating clearly. No official "DND feat. KUROMI" merchandise has been announced. We would not want anyone to go looking for a product that has not been confirmed to exist, and we will update our readers if that changes.

The physical release to watch: Ado "Yodaka" Blu-ray and DVD, 21 October 2026

The item with a firm date is Ado's live disc for "Yodaka", the first Tokyo Dome show from her first dome tour. It arrives on Wednesday 21 October 2026 in four editions.

• Limited editions: include a 60-page live photo book, a puffy "Ado-chan" charm of about 70 mm drawn by image director ORIHARA, a glitter postcard and a special slipcase.
• Standard editions: come with a 16-page booklet.
• Sound: the Blu-ray editions use Dolby Atmos.

What is on the set list

The show runs to 25 songs, moving from fan favourites such as "Usseewa", "Odoru" and "Show" to the live debuts of "AiAiA", "MAGIC" and "The Story of the Wind and I". There are also three covers: Sia's "Chandelier", After the Rain's "The Comet Train's Bell Rings" and wowaka's "Unknown Mother-Goose". The encore features the giant tooth-character "Hachan" balloon, topped with Ado's favourite tuna sushi, which is the sort of detail that makes a live release worth owning.

The limited editions pair the concert with a thick photo book and a charm, and the standard editions offer a lighter booklet for those who mainly want the show.
