The summer's real-world hololive puzzle event has turned into merchandise. hololive Panic merch, made up of a key-visual acrylic panel and eight "Crew ID" acrylic badges, opened for orders on 28 September 2026, and the order window closes on 13 October at 10:00 UK time. Everything is made to order, with shipping expected from mid-November 2026.

What is hololive Panic?
hololive Panic was a virtual-meets-real puzzle event that ran from 3 to 16 August 2026. The story followed a runaway mascot, and the "Hololive Virtual Defence Force" was called in to stop it. Fans took part by solving puzzle posters placed around Japan.
- Posters: puzzle posters in eight area designs, placed at more than 100 locations across all 47 prefectures.
- Where you could find them: many were at arcades, with others in unusual places such as a ski-jump viewing lounge, an aquarium and inside station gates.
- The reward: solving the puzzle unlocked a personal digital crew ID and a keyword for the finale.
- The finale: a live-streamed show on 16 August with all eight talents.
The merchandise is a natural next step, because the crew ID was the event's central idea, and now you can own a physical version of it.

Key-visual acrylic panel
- Size: about A5, roughly 148 x 210 mm.
- Material: acrylic.
- The artwork: the eight talents in black uniforms with bows and guns in front of flames, with a giant mascot looming behind the city.
Crew ID acrylic badges
- Size: about 30 x 60 mm.
- Material: acrylic.
- How many: eight designs, one per talent.
- The design: each badge looks like a defence-force ID card. The name field shows the talent's fan name, and the "area in charge" field shows one of the event's eight regions.

Eight talents cover exactly eight areas of Japan, which makes the set fun to collect by region as well as by favourite.

Reading a Crew ID badge
The badges are designed to look like the ID card of a member of the Hololive Virtual Defence Force, the fictional team from the event's story. Each card carries two fields that make the collection more than a set of portraits: a name field, which shows the talent's fan name, and an "area in charge" field, which shows the region she covered in the puzzle event. In the official pictures the talents wear dark tactical-style uniforms with touches of their own colours, and each card has a circular crest for the force on the left. That is why the badges look so different from a standard character acrylic.
