Gundam x hololive STRICT-G Collab: Pins, Coasters and T-shirts, Pre-orders Close 12 October

Sep 30,2026 | Otaku Daily Shop UK

Gundam and hololive have finally met on the clothing rack. On 30 September 2026, Bandai's Lifestyle Division announced the very first "GUNDAM" x "hololive production" collaboration items from STRICT-G, its Gundam-themed apparel brand. The range stars six talents, Shirakami Fubuki, Sakura Miko, Hoshimachi Suisei, Houshou Marine, Hakui Koyori and Rindo Chihaya, and it comes as three kinds of item: a collector's pin set, rubber coasters and embroidered T-shirts.

There is a clock on this one. Pre-orders opened at 05:00 UK time this morning and close at 15:00 UK time (BST) on Monday 12 October 2026, and the official page warns that sales can end early once the prepared quantity has gone. Here is what has been confirmed, what has not, and how Otaku Daily fits in.

Six talents, six "emblem" designs

The concept is simple and neat. Every talent receives her own emblem, which blends a motif connected to her, her name and a Gundam-series look, all rendered in STRICT-G's heavier, badge-like style. According to the release, each design also uses colours chosen to suit the talent. The result feels closer to a mobile-suit unit insignia than to typical idol merchandise, which is exactly why the crossover works so well.

  • Shirakami Fubuki: a light, cool colour scheme, with the T-shirt version in a pale lavender shade.
  • Sakura Miko: a pink-led emblem in her own colour family.
  • Hoshimachi Suisei: a deep navy palette suited to the comet-and-star image she is known for.
  • Houshou Marine: a red shield emblem, which in the official pictures shows a heart pierced by an arrow.
  • Hakui Koyori: a soft pink and white treatment.
  • Rindo Chihaya: a teal emblem with a sharp, geometric centre.

The three items in the first wave

Three product types make up this opening release. Please note that the lists below follow the official announcement, and we have not added anything beyond it.

Emblem pin set (Emblem Ver.)

  • What you get: six metal pins, one per talent, supplied in an original display case.
  • Size and material: zinc-alloy pins of roughly 32 to 38 mm, with the release stressing the metal texture.
  • Series note: this is billed as the first in a pin series, and it is sold as a collector set rather than as single pins.

Rubber coasters

  • Designs: six, one per talent.
  • Finish and size: a raised rubber finish, about 95 mm across.
  • How they are sold: individually, so you can pick just your oshi.

Embroidered T-shirts

  • Designs: six, one per talent.
  • Fabric: 100% cotton.
  • Sizes: M to XXL.
  • Detail: the emblem is embroidered on the left-chest pocket area, which keeps the look understated enough for everyday wear.

Key dates for the first wave

The timings below are already converted to UK time. Japan is eight hours ahead of us until the clocks go back on Sunday 25 October.

  • Announcement: 30 September 2026.
  • Online pre-orders open: 30 September at 05:00 UK time (BST), through the brand's own online store in Japan.
  • Pre-orders close: 12 October at 15:00 UK time (BST), or earlier if the prepared quantity sells out.
  • Shipping: planned for November 2026.
  • In shops: from Saturday 31 October 2026 at four STRICT-G stores in Japan, in Tokyo (Odaiba and Solamachi), Shizuoka and Shiga. Store sales are in Japan only.

What we know, and what we do not

It is worth being clear about the limits of the announcement, because a hot crossover tends to spawn rumours very quickly.

  • A first wave only: the press material calls this the "first" collaboration collection, and the pin set "the first" of its series, but no second wave has been announced. We would not promise more.
  • Japan focus: pre-orders and shop sales are described for Japan. We have seen nothing about availability in the UK.
  • Not related to earlier hololive x Gundam news: hololive and Gundam have already crossed paths on a magazine cover and in the METAL ROBOT魂 figure line. This apparel range is a separate product line from Bandai's lifestyle team.

Why this range stands out

Most talent merchandise is bright, cute and illustrated. STRICT-G takes the opposite route: metal, rubber and stitched cotton, with the talents represented as emblems rather than portraits. That makes the T-shirts and coasters genuinely usable, and it gives collectors a tidy six-piece set to display. If you collect hololive goods, the pin set in particular would sit well next to acrylic stands and badges, and the coasters are a subtle way to show your oshi on a desk without a big character print.

It is also a good example of how Gundam keeps finding new audiences. The franchise's insignia-heavy visual language suits talents with strong personal symbols, such as Marine's heart and arrow or Suisei's comet, so the emblem approach feels natural rather than forced.

How Otaku Daily can help

Otaku Daily currently does not open orders for placing these items, and we do not have a listing for the STRICT-G x hololive range at the moment. If you would like us to look into a quote for the pins, coasters or T-shirts, please contact us and tell us which talent and item you have in mind. Because the pre-order window closes on 12 October, it is best to ask sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, you can browse our hololive collection for other merchandise featuring your favourite talents.
